12 new municipalities are incorporated into the spanish network of Intelligent Cities

The spanish network of Intelligent Cities (www.redciudadesinteligentes.es) was formally constituted in june 2012 in Valladolid with the aim of exchanging experiences and to work together to develop a model of sustainable management and improve the quality of life of citizens.

The board of directors of the spanish network of Intelligent Cities (RECI), gathered in castellón, has approved 12 new municipalities which have applied for membership of the Network. This is Pulsing Centre, Aranjuez, Móstoles and Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid), Avila, Badajoz, Oviedo (Asturias), Palma de Mallorca, Ponferrada (León), seville, Tarragona and Torrent (Valencia). With them, the NEWLY passed comprise 41 municipalities.
