In the framework of the
Royal Decree 1112/2018
reports will be developed, in accordance with the Implementation decision (EU) 2018/1524
establishing arrangements for the same by member states. Moreover, this decision sets out the methodology of monitoring the conformity of the websites and applications for mobile devices with respect to accessibility requirements set forth in the Directive (EU) 2016/2102
by establishing two methods of revision: the method of simplified follow-up of websites and the follow-up method in depth of websites and applications for mobile devices. These follow-up methods have failed to materialise in Spain three methodologies developed by the Observatory of Web Accessibility
on the basis of which has been followed up on the conformity of the websites and applications for mobile devices with respect to accessibility requirements provided for in the directive (EU) 2016/2102.
The Ministry for the transformation and the civil service (responsibilities transferred from the ministry of Territorial policy and Public Service), through the secretariat-General for administration and in particular, the Observatory of Web Accessibility prepared and submitted to the european commission the first report on the outcome of the follow-up for 2020-2021.
