The new guide CCN-STIC 834 aims to help those responsible for security of the scope of the NHIS take a coherent strategy of protecting jobs and DRES EPP user.

The CCN-CERT has published on its website the Guide CCN-STIC 834 (Opens in new window) , whose aim is to help those responsible for security of the entities of the scope of the NHIS take a coherent strategy for the tools of protection of the positions (EPP and EDR), pursuant to security of information concerned.

The document analyzes, comprehensively, the EPP security tools and the cycle of comprehensive protection, broken down into a first phase of protection/prevention; followed by phase detection, a third resolution and answer and finally, the fourth phase of adaptation.

The report is part of the set of standards developed by the centre National Cryptologic, for the implementation of the national security (CCN-STIC-800) still apply to the public sector and having as their object the protection of the services provided to citizens and between the different administrations.

The guide also examines the EDR tools and the cycle of full protection and the criteria for the use of security tools depending on the nature of the information system.
