XEA, DESOURB and Concurrent Cache Manager are the three new inputs of Galicia to our catalog of the CST IS to facilitate the re-use by other administrations as well as collaboration for improvement

The Xunta de Galicia, through the Agency for Technological Upgrading of Galicia (Amtega) (Opens in new window) in collaboration with different consellerías published over the past year, three new solutions in your repository of Free Software, which has been increasing its supply since the year 2011 thanks to the action Plan to Free Software community of Galicia.

With the objective of widening the dissemination of these solutions and to comply with the requirements of the National Scheme of Interoperability in terms of re-use of applications, the Amtega proceeded to register them in the catalogue of solutions to the centre of transfer of technology (CST), by providing the information necessary to facilitate their knowledge and reuse.

XEA-CeMIT, implementation of the network management CeMIT

The network CeMIT is an initiative launched by the Amtega that integrates a total of 98 classrooms, located throughout the galician geography, and that aims at bridging the digital divide, through the training service and comfortable.

XEA ( http://administracionelectronica.gob.es/ctt/xea ) is a web application for the management of all resources of the classrooms CeMIT, which allows users to the consultation on all activities of training is offered, registration in the same, support for its implementation and attainment of certificates of use. On the other hand, it helps responsible for the centres the organization both in the network and its daily work.

XEA is an adaptation, developed by Fundetec Amtega, for the implementation of ISIS, created in advance by Fundetec programme management board CyLDigital Castilla y león.

DESOURB, Sustainable Urban Development

The project DESOURB ( http://administracionelectronica.gob.es/ctt/desourb ) is a project developed with european funds obtained through the “ cross-border cooperation España-portugal ” (POCTEP) whose objective was the definition of an innovative model of territorial planning and management based on indicators. This will develop a web platform, which allows the capture and introduction of information, both in and geographical alphanumeric support necessary for the realization of diagnoses, setting targets and monitor the results of actions carried out on the basis of Indices and indicators.

The application allows the automatic calculations of these indicators, from which comprise simpler calculations, as the most complex operations that require geographical data. Furthermore allowed for the incorporation, definition and creation of new indicators by the users of the platform.

Concurrent Cache Manager

Concurrent Cache Manager (CCM) is not an end-user application, is a Java library that allows you to dramatically improve the performance of the transactions between the applications used in the offices of the public employment service of Galicia and the platform for public employment service, which translates into greater agility in the course of the work on the part of the employees of those offices.

Given its nature, the CCM is a software component that can be reused by any autonomous employment service, since they all need to connect to the systems of the public employment service.

CCM consists of a library developed in Java and composed of several modules, all of them published with free license and available for download ( http://administracionelectronica.gob.es/ctt/ccm ).
