The aim of the European regulation of Cybersecurity is threefold:
- The primary objective of the regulation is to strengthen ENISA to improve the coordination and cooperation in respect of safety in all eu member states and institutions, agencies and bodies of the eu
- Provides a framework for cyber security certification of the eu that will enable the emergence of certification schemes tailored to specific categories of products, processes and ict services.
- And, of course, to expand the european union's response to cyber attacks, to improve the resilience and cyber increase confidence in the single Digital market.
