The Law of cybersecurity and the framework of certification of cybersecurity

In order to enlarge the eu response to cyber attacks, cyber enhancing their resilience and increasing confidence in the single Digital market, the european regulation of Cybersecurity EU strengthens ENISA, the european union agency for cyber security.

The aim of the European regulation of Cybersecurity (Opens in new window) is threefold:

  1. The primary objective of the regulation is to strengthen ENISA to improve the coordination and cooperation in respect of safety in all eu member states and institutions, agencies and bodies of the eu
  2. Provides a framework for cyber security certification of the eu that will enable the emergence of certification schemes tailored to specific categories of products, processes and ict services.
  3. And, of course, to expand the european union's response to cyber attacks, to improve the resilience and cyber increase confidence in the single Digital market.
