Client @FIRMA in environments that do not support java applets

Security concerns of Java Applets and abandoning its support by the operating systems of mobile devices and in some Web browsers such as Google Chrome, have led to the evolution of @firma Client to allow for implementation in the diversity of backgrounds.

The functioning of the solution developed is the following depending on the environment of implementation of the implementation:

  • If a Web browser that supports Java Applets, will be implemented the MiniApplet @firma Client.
  • If it is made from a mobile device perform the native application. They have developed mobile applications @firma Client for Google Android and iOS, Apple and are available for download from the corresponding distribution platform of mobile applications.
  • If run from a browser Google Chrome, or has not been possible to download MiniApplet, be invoked by the protocol to the client application desktop @firma (“ signature easy ”) previously installed on your machine.

In the invocation by the protocol, a Web browser transferred control to the operating system to locate and open the appropriate implementation associated with the URI.

The solutions outlined in the last two subparagraphs, require the user of prior installation of the client applications @firma for mobile devices or “ Signature ” for Easy desk. The integrator must warn the user of the need to download and installation and location of the same.

Communication between the Web application and applications of two-way signature is not, it is necessary for the use of an intermediate server to manage the communication of return, the following sequence:

  • The Web browser calls for the implementation of signature by a special URI, indicating a number of information (data to sign, format, options, etc.).
  • The implementation of signature receives data and undertakes the electronic signature.
  • The implementation of signature deposited the outcome of the signing on a server intermediary by a Web service.
  • The Web browser reflects the outcome of the operation of signing the server intermediary and implementation of the logic of business.

There have also developed installers to the application “ Signature ” to facilitate Easy throughout the process of installing and updating.

In the forge of PTT, in the download area of the project @Firma client it has published a Beta version of the customer @Firma with the solution implemented. For integrators who wish to know it and try it. The publication of the official version is scheduled for may 2015.
