10 october 2013

The Observatory of Web Accessibility starts the updating and generation of new materials to support the implementation of the new standard for web accessibility.

The Accessibility observatory Site is an initiative launched in 2010 by the General directorate of Administrative Modernization, procedures and momentum of E-government, with the aim of helping to improve the level of compliance on accessibility of portals of the administration (AGE, REGIONAL GOVERNMENTS and EELL). All this in coordination with the standing committee of the high council of E-government and the Sectoral Committee of E-government.

Following the publication of the resolution of 2 september 2012 by the ministry of industry, tourism and energy (Opens in new window) specifying that the standard 139803:2012 replaces the standard 139803:2004, government agencies are working in the process of updating the new standard.

During the coming months will be rolled out new content which we hope will be very useful for all public administrations.

In addition, managers of portals of the public authorities can apply for membership Accessibility community (Opens in new window) in the knowledge-sharing in this area.
