The Accessibility observatory Site is an initiative launched in 2010 by the General directorate of Administrative Modernization, procedures and momentum of E-government, with the aim of helping to improve the level of compliance on accessibility of portals of the administration (AGE, REGIONAL GOVERNMENTS and EELL). All this in coordination with the standing committee of the high council of E-government and the Sectoral Committee of E-government.
Following the publication of the resolution of 2 september 2012 by the ministry of industry, tourism and energy specifying that the standard 139803:2012 replaces the standard 139803:2004, government agencies are working in the process of updating the new standard.
The Observatory of Web Accessibility is preparing new materials to support for the implementation of the new standard. Currently are now available:
- Free download of the Standard UNE 139803:2012 . The state secretariat for Public Administrations has signed an agreement with AENOR for the free distribution of this rule through the Portal of E-government. Is prohibited the distribution of this document by other than those authorized by AENOR .

- Guide developed by INTECO .
During the coming months will be rolled out new content which we hope will be very useful for all public administrations.
In addition, managers of portals of the public authorities can apply for membership Accessibility community in the knowledge-sharing in this area.
