Making e-services reality in Europe, e-SENS Project

As a result of the free movement of people in the eu, the demand for public services by citizens from any european country is increasing. The European Commission and member states have made considerable efforts to facilitate communication between countries. There Are many initiatives and projects in this line, but much remains to be done.

It is worth noting the existence of interoperability solutions at european level in the areas of e-health electronic justice, electronic contracting or creation of enterprises. However, to exploit the full potential that can provide the single market requires generic solutions to provide easily implantables electronic communications in any area.

The objective of the event is to present the progress achieved so far in the development of these solutions.

Topics to be dealt with in the event:

  • Basic solutions to facilitate interoperability developed in european projects (STORK, epSOS eCODEX,...)
  • The need for government administrations to provide for the electronic channel.
  • The progress made so far in the development of basic solutions of interoperability to be used by all member states.
  • The future of the digital infrastructure to ensure the existence of public services regardless of frontiers.
