The project Provides has gathered today in Madrid more than 200 persons to analyse and share experiences on the reuse of public sector information, known as “ open data ”.
The meeting, organized around five round tables, has had more than 40 national and international experts and successful entrepreneurs, leaders of projects based on the reuse of public sector information.
The meeting has served to various initiatives and public, private and civil society in addressing the challenges, challenges and emerging solutions in the way towards the “ open data ”.
Reuse of public information in Spain generates an annual turnover of 550 and €650 million.
