The high dynamism and rapid innovation underpinned the digital processing of the public administrations. Interoperable Europe (Opens in new window) with the support of the Digital Programme Europe (Opens in new window) second, launches the online edition of the conference ITEM (Opens in new window) (European Data Conference on Reference Data and Semantics), del 14 al 16 de marzo de 2023.

The exchange of knowledge is directly related to production, dissemination and re-use of data and the establishment, maintenance and exchange of data of multilingual reference. Through these processes, are implemented and semantic solutions YOU together with technologies such as automatic learning and artificial intelligence. Despite this, the silos tend to stay.

Moreover, the availability of large amounts of data will increase the complexity of data at an unprecedented rate. Therefore, the need to build on semantics is even more important. This conference will address these organizational silos that damage the interoperability and data recovery in the exchange of knowledge and aims to handle future workloads of data and connect the trade intelligence and artificial intelligence.

The first conference ENDORSE in 2021 (Opens in new window) marked an important step to overcome these silos and created an event a great need for standards, semantics and interoperability. Contributions from various sources, as investigators, the eu and national administrations, highlighted many innovative projects and activities on a large scale.

This second conference will bring together various stakeholders working in the field of data and semantic interoperability, as experts, researchers, suppliers, national public services and universities, international organizations and intergovernmental organizations and the private sector in order to explore the latest trends in baseline data multilingual.
