On 8 february 2002, the european commission proposed European law Chips , full set of measures designed to ensure security of supply, resilience and technological leadership of the eu in technologies and applications for semiconductor

The DG CNECT organized a briefing on tuesday, 29 march between 1430 hours and 1630 hours to present the main elements of the european law of Chips, as well as the tentative timetable for its adoption.

The meeting was open to all stakeholders throughout the entire value chain of semiconductors. Participants will have the opportunity to make comments and ask questions.
