The report of maturity of the Open Data in europe is prepared annually by the European Portal of data from 2015. Records the progress made by the eu member states as they drive the publication and reuse of open data, as well as the different priorities. In addition to the 27 eu member states, the report also includes three countries in the european free trade association (EFTA) (Norway, switzerland, iceland) and 5 candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Ukraine).
In the edition of 2023,
Spain
is positioned in the fifth global ranked fourth between eu countries, in the group of
Fast trackers (pioneers).
Of the four dimensions analysed,
Spain noted particularly in the “ political ” dimension, where you get the maximum score, while in the other three gets results than the 2022.
In all dimensions Spain has a score above the average for the countries of the Eu: 99 per cent compared to 89 per cent of UE27 in politics; 96 per cent compared with 85 per cent in Portal; 97 per cent compared to 71 per cent in Impact, and 88 per cent compared with 77 per cent in quality.

”, in the collection and classification of cases of re-use, the report highlights various projects and services carried out in Spain in subjects such as ‘ urban housing ’ (Barcelona Real Estate Market and CoHispania), ‘ energy consumption and shift to renewable energies ’ (EneEKO and Idealistic Energy) or ‘ Employment ’ (implementation of the board of castile and León that lets you view the map in a different training courses aimed at territories and the unemployed).

”, the report notes that, after the issuance of the implementing regulation sets of data on high-value, spain is adapting its technical standards for interoperability (a national standard) to converge with the latest version of DCAT-AP (v. 2.1.1), including making the necessary adjustments to reflect the provisions on data sets and the guidelines of the law of governance.
