Launched in 2015, the rate of open, useful and Reusable (OURdata, by its initials in english) compares the efforts of governments to design and implement national policies of open government data. With later editions published by 2017 and 2019, the rate has remained a valuable resource for policy makers and serves as a key indicator of public governance, which evaluates the progress that governments have made to ensure open data to support policy reform. The edition 2023 covers more than 670 indicators of data collected from 36 countries and 4 oecd accession countries over 2022.
THE Contents OURdata consists of three pillars and nine subpilares. The three main pillars are: data availability, accessibility of data and government support for the reuse of data. The Contents OURdata 2023 was compiled through the survey of oecd on Open Government Data by 2022. Due to changes in factors used for index subpilares, the results of the Contents OURdata 2023 cannot be directly compared with previous versions.
According to the study Spain took the fifth position in the area of open , only behind south korea, france, poland and Estonia.
