International Context

According to the report " UN eGovernment survey 2020(Obre en nova finestra) ", Spain appears in the list of countries with a high performance according to the i-Government Development Index (EGDI). Leading this indicator llauri located in this 2020 edition: Denmark, Korea, Estònia, Finland and Austràlia. Also, Spain maintains the position number 17 with respect to the edition of 2016, and in the position number 10 in the field of the European countries.

According to the 2018 edition of the ITU's " Global Global Cybersecurity Index(Obre en nova finestra) ", which was published in April 2019, Spain is in seventh placer in the list of the tingues countries that xou the highest degree of commitment to cybersecurity.

In the analysis by geographic areas, Spain ranks fifth (5th) in the European area after the United Kingdom, France, Lithuania and Estònia.

According to the perspective that links the ICT development index, known as IDI, and the GCI, Spain also xous a good positioning.

European Union Context

According to the Index of Economy and Digital Society (DESI) 2020, Spain ranks 11th among the 28 EU Member States. It is noteworthy that Spain obtains good results and progresses in the development of digital public services, highlighting the commitment with open data. According to this indicator of digital public services, Spain is in second placer, maintaining a sustained progress since 2014.

The high usability average of 91% on average indicates that not only services llauri available online but also backed by reliable user support. Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, Spain and Turkey have achieved a score of 100% on this indicator.
