The OECD provides a forum for sharing and exchange of experiences of national governments around the world in order to find solutions to common problems and make recommendations in the areas of economic, social and environmental concerns. In the area of Public Governance working since 2001 in public policies relating to the modernization of the administration and management, designed to explore how governments can make better use of information and communication technologies (ICT) to integrate the principles of good governance.
- Network on E-Government (E-Leaders): Oecd group, which depends on the Committee on Governance, consisting of CIOs (Chief Information Officer) or authorities on Information technologies to the Public Administration of member states. Its aim is to exchange information among member states on strategies and the status of the Digital Administration and the government Opened in their countries, as well as to make recommendations to the development of strategies of Digital Administration. It is also responsible for the adoption of the assessments Digital Administration and open government carried out by OECD countries (peer-to-peer reviews). It is up to the subgroup administration analyse indicators Digital and analyse indicators of Open Government in member states. They also prepared documents and studies in that area.
- Working Party on Security and Privacy in the Digital Economy - WPSPDE : The working group of security and privacy in the Digital economy, formerly known as of information security and protection of privacy (Working Party on Information Security and Privacy – WPISP), conducts studies and makes recommendations to governments and other actors to ensure that security and protection of privacy will subscribe to the development of the economy of the Internet as well as economic and social prosperity. This Shall Identify trends, the exchange of experiences and analyses the impact of technology in the development of policies relating to security and protection of privacy (protection of personal data, identification and electronic authentication, cryptography, information security, cyber security).
- Task Force innovation Observatory of the public Sector : The Observatory of innovation of the public Sector is the result of a Task Force within the Committee on Governance, which aims to collect all innovative initiatives designed to provide solutions to the public managers who are looking for ideas to reduce spending on service delivery, to improve a service without increasing the cost or to launch a new product in another country that already exists. Is housed in an international forum for exchange of innovative practices.
