CERES-FNMT modifies its policy of renewal of obsolete electronic certificates during the state of alarm

The PSC of CERES-FNMT implements the renewal of electronic certificates obsolete qualified during the state of alarm

In application of Royal Decree 463/2020, 14 March, declaring a state of alarm for managing the situation of health crisis caused by the COVID-1 9, the secretariat of digitization status and Artificial intelligence has communicated to service providers of confidence operating in Spain that may not require compliance with deadlines within the art. 13.4 of law 59/2003 of 19th December, of electronic signature, during the time of rule of alarm.

Additionally, the PSC may allow the renewal of certificates using other that expired from 14 March.

In this sense, the PSC of CERES-FNMT has published in its headquarters-mail several releases announcing that have occurred:

  • Enable the non-renewal certificate of Individual expired after the entry into force of Royal Decree 463/2020, 14 March .
  • Remove the restriction requiring physical indemnification every 5 years to renew a certificate, so all those certificates to which they are less than 60 days to expire, Individual and Representative of Solidarity or Single Administrator may be renewed online a second time.
